Fetch Rewards Tips and Tricks

Learn the best tips and tricks for Fetch, the #1 rewards to earn free gift cards with over 10 million active users. It’s easy to shop & dine, snap your receipts and earn free gift cards for your favorite shops and restaurants.

Fetch’s reward system is so fierce. Its point system directs you to try out new products and saves money on products you would otherwise already buy. Fetch has been around for a whopping nine years, so don’t worry, this is not a new company; Forbes said that over 10 million people use the app. I don’t want to take up too much of your time when you can be racking up those points, so let’s figure out exactly how Fetch can fit in your life, and you will be getting free gift cards in no time.

Where can I earn points?
There are so many brands on the “Discover” page that will reward you every time you purchase them, so if you are already buying from Suave, Huggies, Pepsi, Lipton, Scott, Naked, Ben & Jerry’s, or of the other 291 brands on this app, then you’re in for a real treat.

There’s also a feature that lets you obtain points from e-receipts. You can scan physical receipts from stores for points. For instance, if you are purchasing from Amazon, you can scan the e-receipts that you get in your email. When you scan your first two receipts, you will earn 1,200 points. Just remember, you have 14 days after your purchase date to scan your receipts.

Use Fetch at the following stores:
Pet stores
Wholesale Clubs
Gas Stations
Grocery Stores
Liquor stores
The majority of your points will come from grocery stores because most of the featured brands are available.

What kind of receipts can I use?
Each receipt requires a clear print of the establishment’s name, the date of the purchase, and the total amount of money spent. Receipts in your email from Amazon are accepted through a feature called, “eReceipt.” These receipts include Walmart, Target, Costco, Instacart, and so many others! You can find the whole list in the eReceipts section of the “Me” page.

There are a few exceptions to the receipts. There have to be specific details on the receipt, but they also can’t be from any concert/movie/experience or airline ticket. Receipts from an item’s return can not be accepted, nor can any receipt from a service provider.

Are there any other ways to earn points or rewards?
Yes! Of course, there are more ways! My favorite way to earn points is to get them from items I already intended on purchasing, so that’s a huge plus. If you have a coupon on the item you’re purchasing, scan your receipt and save even more on that one item through the app. That’s a double-layer saving!

Every receipt counts, and you can scan up to 35 receipts per week. So unless you’re going out to shop more than five times a day, we have you covered. Every day, new items pop up on the app, so make sure to keep your eye out for those.

Bonuses, sweepstakes, and referrals are great ways to get more points and rewards. Right now you can redeem your points to enter a raffle for a $500 Visa debit card. Five runners up will get a $100 Visa debit card. You must be 18 years or older to enter. Take a chance and who knows? You might win.

What kind of rewards can I get?
Well, my novice shopping Jedi, I can assure you that the rewards are bountiful. You can redeem five, ten, twenty-five, and fifty-dollar gift cards to just about any mall outlet, grocery store, or retailer website you can imagine. Get a gift card from Burger King, Starbucks, Dunkin’, Bed Bath and Beyond, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Ebay, Instacart, and more.

If your favorite store is not on the list, you can scroll down to “cash cards” and get yourself a virtual or physical debit card. Luckily, the virtual cash card is available immediately, so you can go ahead and use that virtual cash to purchase anything you’d like or even donate it to a charity of your choice.

The restaurant category includes Panera, Papa John’s, Starbucks, Dunkin’, Baskin-Robbins, The Cheesecake Factory, and Uber Eats. You can also redeem your points for year-long magazine subscriptions to Entertainment Weekly & AMC+, EatingWell, and Travel & Leisure for only 5,000 points, equal to five dollars! Incredibly, we can afford fifty to a hundred dollar values for only five thousand points. When you feel like giving back, you can redeem your points for donations to charities such as America SCORES, the American Cancer Society, and Charity Choice. 1,000 points is equal to a dollar.

What’s the best way to earn points?
Ah, yes. The moment we’ve all been waiting for: how to become a pointillionaire! It’s pretty easy. Every person you bring onto the Fetch app through your code earns you two dollars or 2,000 points through referrals — even more during special promotions. When your referral signs up, they will get 2,000 automatically. This may change at some point in the future, but for now, it’s a great deal.
