If your child’s PlayStation account is linked as a sub-account under your master account, they are only able to access the PlayStation wallet to spend existing funds, but they are not able to add funds to the wallet themselves; child accounts do not have their own wallet.

  5. On this screen, you should see your child’s account; if not, you will need to first add them by clicking on “Add Family Member.”
  6. Click on your child’s PlayStation profile.
  7. Scroll down to “Parental Controls.”
  8. Scroll down to “Monthly Spending Limit.”
  9. Here, you can set the amount of funds your child can access from your family’s master PlayStation account wallet, ranging from $0 to “Unlimited.”
  10. Click “Confirm.”
