Step 2 | Snap your receipts for Fetch points
Fetch makes scanning receipts quick and easy. Just open the app, click the camera icon at the bottom of the screen and snap away. You will earn at least 25 points for every scan and hundreds of points for featured brands and special offers. You can even securely connect your email accounts and Amazon account, to Fetch, to instantly scan all of your online receipts for points.
Step 3 | Use your Fetch points to get free gift cards you can put toward free V-Bucks
Visa gift cards can be used to purchase anything, and in this case, they can be used to purchase V-Bucks. Use your Fetch points to get a free Visa gift card and then go to the Fortnite Official site to purchase more V-Bucks for your Fortnite account.
Does Fetch work directly with Fortnite?
Currently, Fetch does not work directly with Fortnite, as it does not offer Fortnite gift cards directly, in-app, as a reward. However, there are multiple ways to easily use Fetch points to purchase Fortnite gift cards:

Microsoft PC and Xbox users can also redeem their Fetch gift cards for Xbox Gift Cards.
To add your gift card balance to the Xbox Store:
- Search for Fortnite V-Bucks
- Select the amount you want to purchase
- Use your Xbox gift card redeemed from the Fetch App to purchase those V-Bucks.
How to use Fetch Playstation Store gift cards to get free V-Bucks in Fortnite
Playstation users can also redeem their Fetch gift cards for Playstation gift cards.
To add your gift card balance to the Playstation Store
- Search for Fortnite V-Bucks
- Select the amount you want to purchase
- Use your Playstation gift card redeemed from the Fetch App to purchase those V-Bucks.
How to use Fetch Amazon gift cards to get free V-Bucks in Fortnite
Amazon gift cards can be used to purchase V-Bucks gift cards.
To use Amazon gift cards for free V-Bucks:
- Redeem your Amazon gift card you got from the Fetch app
- Search for V-Bucks in Amazon and select the amount you want
- Redeem your V-Bucks gift card on the Fortnite game
How many Fetch points do you need to get free V-Bucks in Fortnite?
That depends on which gift cards that you purchase with your Fetch points. In general, you will need about 10,000 points to get a $10 gift card.

Do social media accounts and influencers work with Fetch to give users free V-Bucks?
Currently, Fetch is not working with any third-party social media accounts or influencers to directly award V-Bucks to users. If you see an influencer or social media account, especially on places like Twitter and TikTok, offering free V-Bucks through Fetch, it is likely a scam and can be reported. To redeem a V-Bucks gift card on X-Box:
- Go to https://www.fortnite.com/ and log in to your account. Once logged in, make sure the name you see in the top-right corner of your screen matches your in-game display name.
- In the top-right corner, hover over your name and, from the drop-down, select “V-Bucks Card.”
- On the screen that says, “Redeem Your V-Bucks Card,” click on “Get Started.”
- Enter your V-Bucks gift card code with no dashes, and then click “Next.”
- When it asks, “Where do you want to use your V-Bucks,” select “Xbox.”
- Review the details of your V-Bucks gift card redemption, making sure you’re redeeming your V-Bucks on the correct account and device, and, if all looks good, click “Confirm.”
- Once you click “Confirm,” a 12-digit or 25-digit code is generated, and you’ll need to enter this code on a third-party website for Microsoft.
- The V-Bucks redemption site will direct you to log into your Microsoft account. Again, make sure you are logging into the correct account (the one linked to your Fortnite account).
- Enter the 12-digit or 25-digit code, and your V-Bucks will be added to your account.
